APPROACHING HUMBLY

February 24th ~ “And behold, a leper came to him and knelt before him, saying, ‘Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.’ And Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, ’I will; be clean…’” Matthew 8:2-3

Matthew 8:1-4

The leper in this passage had known extreme suffering and isolation in his life, so he came to Jesus with desperation. He didn’t just passively ask for healing—he prostrated himself and acknowledged the power of Jesus. His words showed his utter dependence on Jesus, because that’s all he had left!

TODAY

Come to Jesus with humility and desperation. Don’t just say another prayer like normal. Instead, passionately seek after Him and acknowledge that He is the Keeper of all good things.
