Have you ever been extended an invitation? Invitations come in all shapes and sizes through every form of media we have at our disposal—from casual conversations in office hallways to beautiful formal invitations that arrive in our mailboxes. With every invitation comes an ebb and flow of anticipation and excitement. In John 1, an invitation is made with two simple works: “Follow Me.”  This is an extraordinary invitation extended to very ordinary people, and it comes with a promise as Jesus says in verse 50, “You will see greater things than these.”

Jesus extends the same invitation to you: “Follow Me.”
