John 4:3-42
You may think you know a little bit about the Samaritan woman, but, more than likely, you are actually a lot like the Samaritan woman. We feel avoided, rejected, or we assume our sin makes us unlovable. Like her, we find ourselves at an empty well trying to fill our innermost needs with things that cannot satisfy. But Jesus knew the Samaritan woman’s sin and her needs. And He knows ours. He meets us at our loneliest hour and in our deepest thirst.
TODAY
Whenever you encounter water—getting a drink, doing the dishes, or washing your hands—take a moment and thank Jesus for being your living water, fulfilling every need. Bask in the awesome reality that Jesus sees you and loves you.
